Cerebral Gaze, Stay Tuned
Friday the 16th, we will be entering Emandee Studios in search of something. Mr. Mark Ospovat will be helping us with our long voyage ahead. We’ll be working and workin it for a couple of months, so be ready and stay tuned. We’ll be posting a track listing, title and the album artwork soon along with other exciting news.
Check our show listings, there’s a few more coming up.
year end review
The last night of 2008 was spent in good company hussling about in Brooklyn. The Too Shy Oh Nine party was a success overall, but the presence of our unadulterated percussion section woke the sleeping dragons that dwell above the Stain bar. We optted not to play so that the peace might be kept and the party might proceed. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to catch the Galt Line (who were as sweet as their melodies) but we did get to see Gillian Grassie’s cletic harp playing.
Gillian kindly helped us move our equipment over to the second venue of the evening which was a loft apartment over on Moore St. called Retox. A good space for a show despite the lackluster PA which converted our lowend into a continual pulse that seemed to only cease during the quieter parts of our set. This show was also the first show for our new comrads (no pun intended), Conrad Burnham and Bethany Carder, who have begun to add their own musical contributions to our little project and will do so on our next record.
